HBO has recently released two trailers for House of the Dragon season 2 with an announcement of the release date, presenting Team Green and Black fighting for King Aegon and Queen Rhaenyra as each side believes they are the rightful seat to the Iron Throne. With a glimpse into each side, fans of the House of the Dragons and Game of Thrones can anticipate season 2 premiering on June 16 on HBO and will be available to stream on Max.

Taking place right after season 1, Westeros is on the brink of a deadly civil war for the Iron Throne, and the audience must choose their side of House Targaryen, whether it is Team Black or Green, to be seated on the throne and prevail.
Alongside the release of the two trailers, Ryan Condal will be returning to co-create the show with George R.R. Martin. Fans of the universe can also expect to see many familiar faces in the cast, like Matt Smith, Eve Best, Steve Toussaint, etc. With some cast returning, we will also be introduced to many new cast from Abubakar Salim as Alyn of Hull, Gayle Rankin as Alys Rivers, Freddie Fox as Ser Gwayne Hightower, and many more.
House of the Dragon Season 2 Team Green Trailer:
As season 2 of House of the Dragon is set to release, Warner Bros. Discovery has announced the streaming service Max will be launching in Europe on May 21st in time for the premiere. It will first be launched in the Nordics, Iberia, and Central and Eastern Europe. Followed by Poland, Netherlands, France, and Belgium. As the service comes to Europe, House of the Dragon season 2 will premiere on Max on June 17, one day after the U.S. premiere.
